Last August, we embarked on a magical day of adventuring around CT and New York. 4 shoots, 8 photographers, one seriously kick ass day. We had the best time creating content for photographers that we don’t often see in New England. We had a blast experimenting, challenging ourselves and pretending we knew the trails on a 2 mile hike to a waterfall. Haha, more on that in another post.
Here we’re sharing a peek into a session we did with a previous couple of ours, Casey and Amanda. We wanted to offer an in home session for one of the shoots as we live in New England and don’t always have the opportunity to shoot outdoors (especially in inclement weather) We challenged our students to use the light creatively, compose their shots in ways they may not have thought of before, and honestly just to have fun. Casey and Amanda were the perfect couple for that as they can equally serve up fun, joyful and quiet, intimate moments.
Here’s some of the behind the scenes and images we were able to capture to give you a look into what a shoot with us looks like. This year, we are traveling back to NY to hang in yurts. It’s going to be amazing! Registration opens on May 1st and we can’t wait! For now, enjoy this gorgeous sun soaked farmhouse shoot!
